PRP (PLATELET RICH PLASMA)

Platelet Rich Plasma, taken from your blood, contains a high concentration of your own platelets & growth factors. PRP Therapy is often combined with microneedling.

Plasma is injected under the skin or applied over the skin; which induces the formation of new collagen fibers to help skin texture.

PRP Injections are commonly used for acne scarring, facial rejuvenation, stretch marks, and dark circles under the eyes.

You will experience a mild discomfort at the injection site when the PRP is injected. The area treated will usually swell, lasting between a few hours to 2 days, and you may experience some bruising.

You will start to notice a change in your skin a few weeks after the treatment.

Dr. Crabtree recommends 3 treatments, one month apart, to achieve good results. In a few weeks, the skin texture and acne scarring is improved, with long-lasting results.
