DYSPORT

Dysport is an injectable that aims to smooth moderate to severe wrinkles around the mouth, in between the eyebrows, or around the eyes also known as “crows feet”. This injectable is made from the same nuerotoxin in Botox. You can rest assured that you’re using a safe product as Dysport received Food, Drug, and Administration (FDA) approval.

How Does Dysport Work?

Dysport is a prescription injection that blocks nerve activity within a patient’s muscles to relax the area. Subsequently, Dysport helps improve moderate to severe wrinkles between the eyebrows. Important to note, this injection is able to travel further from the injection site which typically requires fewer injections than Botox.

How long does Dysport last?

Results typically last between 3-4 months after treatment.

How can I be sure my results will look natural?

Botox does the work, but the provider gets the great results. Not everyone offering Dysport has the same level of training and skill. It’s not enough to know how to administer the injections; a provider needs to have extensive knowledge of facial anatomy so he can safely place the exact amount of product in exactly the right locations to achieve effective wrinkle reduction without the dreaded “frozen face.”

Dr. Crabtree has undergone specific training and has extensive experience performing injections with skill and artistry. He’s helped hundreds of men and women of all ages and skin types refresh their appearance ensures your treatment plan will give you the best possible outcome. You’ll be able to make normal facial expressions, and you won’t have to worry about anyone thinking, “she/he had Dysport.”

What to expect with your Crabtree Plastic Surgery Dysport treatment

After discussing your goals and evaluating your area of concern with Dr. Crabtree, he will inject the Dysport into the appropriate muscles. Expect 2 or more injections, depending on your goals, but don’t expect pain—most patients only feel a tiny crunch.

The entire appointment will last just 15 minutes.  We will even put on some cover up to hide any redness so you don’t have to worry about it showing.  To avoid any possibility of bruising or swelling you can avoid ibuprofen or NSAIDs the week before the injections.  You will also need to refrain from exercise for the next 4-5 hours after treatment
